Titan Poker Review

Opponents

The opponents at Titan Poker can vary. On the one hand, you’ve got some unskilled players who are fairly easy to beat. On the other hand, you have the bonus hunters who go from one poker room to the other, getting the big bonuses and racking up a huge bankroll. The average player at Titan Poker is fairly tight, but you can find their loose players by playing at tables with a higher flop percentage. They’re a newer poker room, and as such they cant quite match the traffic of some of the older rooms, though they’re growing quite rapidly. Overall, an okay place to play poker as long as you’re careful to avoid the few sharks that swim in this tank.

Rating: 8/10

Game Selection

Titan Poker falls a little short of their competition as far as game variety goes, since they only offer Texas Holdem and Omaha (regular and Hi/Lo versions). This isnt necessarily a detriment, though, as it means their table selection is fairly even for those two games. Their no limit Holdem games seem to be especially popular. The limits range from $.02/$.04 to $30/$60.

Rating: 9/10

Rewards/Bonuses/Jackpots

Titan Poker used to be on top of the industry with its first-time deposit bonus. Now, however, they offer a 50% bonus, up to $200. Still decent, but nothing compared to what they used to offer before they bailed on the US. They still occasionally offer re-deposit bonuses, typically 50% up to $50, but don’t expect them. While they don’t have a rewards system in place at this time (they say one is in development, though), they do offer some of the best jackpots you can find. Best hand jackpot, bad beats jackpot, and even different tournament jackpots.

Rating: 8/10

Tournaments

Titan Pokers tournaments are setup quite nicely. They offer a $1,000 weekly freeroll for depositors, and they have some pretty big guaranteed cash tournaments. They offer a $25,000 monthly tournament, both $10,000 and $15,000 weekly tournaments, and daily tournaments up to $3,000 guaranteed. The tournaments at Titan Poker have variable competition. The tougher players used to avoid Titan like the plague, but now they’ve started gathering and are causing the tournaments to be filled with sharks.

Rating: 7/10

Customer Support

The support at Titan Poker is, on average, good. Their email support can be frustrating at times, but they also offer live chat and 24/7 phone support, which is a rarity these days. Their support staff are all fairly knowledgeable and can answer most of your questions with relative ease. They have an incredible amount of deposit options, and their withdrawals are always reliable. The only possible complaint one could have is that it can take 3 days or more for a withdrawal to be processed, though they say theyre working on fixing that issue.

Pacific Poker Review

Opponents

Pacific Poker is a pretty good place to find easy-to-beat opponents if your goal is to make money. If you want to find a place that’s got challenging or professional players so you have some serious competition, this room has that as well, but the easy players tend to outnumber the good ones. Pacific Poker has a fair amount of traffic and has established itself as one of the top online poker rooms. For a decent selection of beatable players, Pacific isn’t too bad.

Rating: 8/10

Game Selection

As of yet, they only have the big five (Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Low, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Low). They always have games running, with emphasis on limit Holdem, Omaha Hi/Low, and 7 Card Stud ring-games. You can have troubles finding the right game at the right limit, but it usually isn’t a big problem. Their software and graphics are really bad, but it won’t effect your gameplay, though you cannot play more than one table at a time. Another strong point about Pacific Poker’s game selection is they have limits as low as $.05/$.10, which is great for the learning player.

Rating 8/10

Rewards/Bonuses/Jackpots

Pacific Poker offers a very generous 25%, up to $100, bonus for first deposits. They also offer a “comp” bonus to players, which is a very good thing to have. Each time you play in a raked hand, it adds more points, allowing you to receive more bonus cash. This is one of the better player reward systems out there. Additionally, they’ll offer the occasional re-deposit bonus. They do not have any jackpots.

Rating: 7/10

Tournaments

Their tournaments are surprisingly varied and well run. They don’t have as many tournaments as some other poker sites, but there’s always a few going on, so you won’t be bereft of some easy tournaments to play in. Their single-table tournaments are much the same as other poker sites which is to say that theyre pretty good. Their multiple-table games are only slightly above average, and the tournaments are actually varied in game choice, which is nice. They’re a big advocate of Heads Up tournaments, in which you and one opponent play it out in a great test of individual skill and style. Its one of the most enjoyable tournament formats Ive come across.

Rating: 8/10

Customer Service

They offer 24-hour customer support, which is becoming a rarity in the online poker industry. Their support isn’t always helpful, though, but they usually get the job done. Their cashout and depositing system is fantastic and fast. A company that also owns other online gambling websites runs them, and they have a very good money system in place, as well as terrific security. You just can’t go wrong amazing deposit options and service, and fast cashouts. Nevertheless, the actual support isn’t satisfactory

Poker Stars Review

Published Date : December 15, 2018
Author : admin

Banking: NETeller, CentralCoin, FirePay, VISA, MasterCard

Opponents

Generally speaking, the people playing at Poker Stars are far more skilled and much tighter than players at looser sites, such as Bodog Life. However, largely thanks to WSOP champions Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer, newer players have been flocking there. Still, that only accounts for lower-limit games. In the higher limits, you’ll find some really great players who are more than happy to take your money. They aren’t unbeatable, though, but they are significantly better than the average player is. As far as player traffic goes, Poker Stars is one of the best.

Rating: 7/10

Game Selection

Poker Stars only offers the standard 5 (Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Low, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Low). Their Omaha and 7 Card Stud poker games aren’t as populated as some other sites. That’s not to say that you’ll ever be without a game, but you will have lots of trouble finding a good table for either of those games. Poker Stars really shines with its limits and amazing software, though. Their limits range from $.02/$.04 all the way up to $100/$200. As you can tell, this is one of the largest ranges of limits on any poker site.

Rating: 8/10

Rewards/Bonuses/Jackpots

Poker Stars now offers a first-time deposit bonus of 100% up to $50. This is still on the small end for a poker site of this size. However, they offer occasional re-deposit bonuses, typically 20-25% up to as much as $600. This is their attempt at good incentive to keep people playing – it’s very effective. They lack any form of jackpots, but they offer Frequent Player Points (FPP). Using FPP’s, you can gain free entry into tournaments, as well as redeem them for items from their online FPP store.

Rating: 9/10

Tournaments

This website offers the best tournaments on the internet. They’ll even have peaks of over 10,000 people just playing in tournaments. They have more daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tournaments than any other online poker room. If you enjoy playing in tournaments and honing your skills, this is a great place to do just that. Their single-table tournaments are consistently better than most other online poker rooms, and their multi-table tournaments easily dominate their competition.

Rating: 10/10

Customer Support

While Poker Stars offers no live support, their email support team is fairly fast and reliable, usually responding within an hour. Their deposit and withdrawal options are somewhat limited compared to other large sites. However, both depositing and withdrawing are easily done, though it seems to take extra time to withdraw your money. The deposits are virtually instantaneous, though. Overall, the only thing they lack is live support, but that isnt so bad considering everything else.

Party Poker Review

Opponents

Party Poker used to completely dominate the online poker world. It had the most player traffic of any other 3 rooms combined. But due to bad press about rigging their games, and now with the US poker legislature, they’ve given up on their primary market. When they kicked the US players out, most of their revenue and fish went with it; there are still beatable opponents to be found, and they’re still one of the largest poker rooms, but nothing like they used to be.

Rating: 8/10

Game Selection

Party Poker offers the big name games that everyone loves to play: Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Low, 7 Card Stud, and 7 Card Stud Hi/Low. They also have the no-limit and pot-limit games for all of these. They used to be extremely well-populated, but that’s changed. They took a massive hit when they refused to cater to players from the United States, since they basically had the market cornered. They still have games running at most times, but again, not like they used to – and you’ll likely have some difficulties if you’re a 7 Card Stud fan, as the traffic there has slowed to a relative crawl.

Rating: 8/10

Rewards/Bonuses/Jackpots

Party Poker offers some terrific signup and deposit bonuses, as well as having some of the largest jackpot games around. The bonus options for signing up with Party Poker are 120% up to $200, or $50 flat if you have a smaller budget. Their re-deposit bonuses change often, usually monthly. It’s difficult to peg Party Poker down because the bonuses are always shifting. However, since they’re so big, they can afford to pay out a little extra to keep their players around. You receive the bonus money at a rate of $1 per 5 hands, which is extraordinary.

Rating: 9/10

Tournaments

The tournaments, both single-table and multi-table, are fantastic. No matter what you want to play with, Party Poker offers it. If you just want to sit down with a couple bucks and play some fun poker, you can do that most any time. If you want to play for some big money, they offer that, too. They’re also the host of the PartyCarbon Poker Million Dollar tournament, which is one of the largest online poker tournaments anywhere.

Rating: 8/10

Customer Support

There are few good things to say about Party Poker’s customer support. Their deposits and withdrawals are still fast and easy, which is certainly the most important thing, but their customer support representatives are definitely not up to par. One-line responses to complicated issues, plus it can now take quite awhile to hear from them. This is probably also a reflection of the hit to their revenue, but even so, it’s an annoying issue.

Paradise Poker Review

Published Date : December 15, 2018
Author : admin
Categories : Casino Reviews
*** Notice that Paradise Poker has been purchased by Sporting Bet. Banking: Credit Card, FirePay, NETeller, NETeller instaCASH, Switch/Solo/Maestro, Bank Draft.

Opponents

Here, youll find a very good amount of opponents. Paradise Poker is one of the most well known poker sites, and it has the game traffic to prove it. However, partly due to their software being very open about table statistics, the players tend to play much tighter. While you’ll have absolutely no trouble finding a table to play at, it may be difficult to find one with players who are easy to beat. The other side to this is that, with their great software, you should be able to weed out the tighter tables with ease but everyone else has this option as well.

Rating: 7/10

Game Selection

Paradise Poker has, one the best game selection of all the big online poker sites. Not only does it have the standard five games (Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Low, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Low), but it also offers 5 Card Stud, 5 Card Draw, and even a fun little game called Crazy Pineapple. They also offer blackjack. The catch? Only Holdem, Omaha Hi/Low and sometimes 7 Card Stud have many games going.

Rating: 7/10

Rewards/Bonuses/Jackpots

Their initial signup bonus isn’t the best. They offer a 100% bonus, up to $100, on initial deposit. The money is doled out with $10 per 100 hands played. To receive this bonus, enter bonus code FIRSTBONUS. Sometimes, they offer a re-deposit bonus of 20%, but don’t hold your breath on that. At this time, they do not have any player rewards programs or running jackpots.

Rating: 6/10

Tournaments

Their tournaments are very satisfactory, and occur often enough to keep you happy. They have a slightly above-average selection of single-table tournaments, which is handy. They’re comparatively new to multi-table tournaments, but the ones they offer are still great fun to play in. As of this writing, they run a nightly $30 buy-in tournament with a guaranteed $35,000 prize pool, as well as a weekly $300 buy-in with $100,000 guaranteed.

Rating: 8/10

Customer Support

Unfortunately, yet another poker site that doesn’t offer live 24/7 support. However, their email response team is very quick and reliable, and they know a good deal about most problems or questions you could have. Their cashout system is also very good. Ive never heard of there a problem depositing or withdrawing funds. They don’t offer as many options as some other sites, but their service can’t be beat.

Full Tilt Poker Review

Opponents

The players at Full Tilt Poker have greatly improved from what they were two years ago. Before, this room was largely populated with ultra-tight players who wanted to match up against other expert poker players and with bonus hunters who knew exactly how to play the minimum to get their cash out. Now, partly thanks to the fact that Full Tilt is one of the few poker rooms still accepting US players, it has a large userbase of fish.

Rating: 8/10

Game Selection

Full Tilt Poker offers the standard games of online poker. Texas Holdem, Omaha Hi and Hi-Lo, and Seven Card Stud Hi and Hi-Lo. They also offer a much less common poker game called Razz. Their game selection isn’t quite as varied as one would like. The no-limit tables for all games are fairly well filled, but the fixed limit games tend to be limited to Texas Holdem. As was mentioned earlier, it’s very tough to find a loose table here. The pros who sponsor the site play often, so you can always have a chance to sit down and have a game with one of them or at least watch the action. If you’re looking for somewhat easier, looser games stick to the no-limit tables.

Rating: 8/10

Rewards/Bonuses/Jackpots

This is where Full Tilt Poker completely squashes any competition. They offer an amazing first-time deposit bonus of 100% up to $600. The industry standard is 20% up to $100. The downside is that the money is doled out somewhat slower than most other poker rooms, especially when youre playing the lower-limit games. However, you should be able to earn $3-6 bonus dollars per hour even then. In addition, they occasionally will offer very nice bonuses of 50% up to $300, and they have a system called Full Tilt Points, which allows you to get special prizes and bonuses simply for playing lots of hands. Although they don’t currently have a running jackpot, this is definitely the highest first-time deposit bonus out of all the online poker rooms.

Rating: 10/10

Tournaments

The tournaments at Full Tilt Poker are, like the site itself, still growing. Not counting the tough competition, they don’t have nearly as many options as the older and more popular rooms do. That being said, the tournaments are run extremely well and are extremely entertaining, especially when you get one of their pro players in one. Their sit-n-go tournaments can be terrific, but their multi-table and heads-up seem to be lacking. As I said before, they’re still growing, so expect many more tournaments with some higher payoffs soon.

Rating: 8/10

Customer Support

Their support is another great aspect of this poker room. They have some of the nicest, fastest support available. While they currently only offer email support, their average response time seems to be between 3 and 5 minutes. Cashing out is extremely simple and fast, as well as being completely reliable. You have to jump through some hoops to get a check mailed to you, but using NETeller or FirePay is easy. The security of this site is state of the art and seems to be kept up to date very well.

Gaming Club Poker Review

Opponents

The players at Gaming Club are not fish. That’s not to say that they’re unbeatable, god-like poker machines who will rob you of all your money – it’s just to say that they tend to be more knowledgeable and unpredictable, which is not what you want when you’re out to make some cash and win at online poker. Good if you’re up for a bit of a challenge or are trying to hone your skills against unpredictable players, bad if you’re out to earn money.

Rating: 5/10

Game Selection

Gaming Club offers a decent selection of games. They have the standards (Texas Holdem, Omaha, 7 Card Stud, and 5 Card Stud); unfortunately, they lack Hi/Lo versions of these games. All four games seem to be played about equally, which is nice. If you move up to the higher-limit games, youll find that theyre virtually dead and nobodys playing there. Also, the higher the rates you go to, the heavier the competition will be – if you manage to find a $5/$10 table, for example, be prepared for a fight.

Rating: 6/10

Rewards/Bonuses/Jackpots

Gaming Club has an interesting bonus when you first join, that also appeals to newer players. By clicking the link below, you can receive a 100% up to $200 first-time deposit bonus. While this may sound lucrative, it’s really more of a reward program. They trickle the money out at an incredibly slow rate, so to get the full bonus you’d have to play a ludicrous amount of time at high-level stakes. Their re-deposit bonuses are pretty much the same idea. Avoid for bonuses.

Rating: 4/10

Tournaments

They make a good effort with their tournaments, but they just don’t run them very often. They’ll typically run only 15-20 tournaments a day. While this is enough for some players, it can be frustrating to have to wait 3 hours to play in that no-limit Omaha tournament youve been wanting to compete in. This is true for both their single-table and multi-table games. They just don’t have the amount of tournaments as other sites. If you’re a player who enjoys frequent and varied tournaments, this site isn’t for you.

Rating: 5/10

Customer Support

Their support is fairly good. They offer phone support, which is a big plus, as well as email support. Their team seems to be fairly knowledgeable and able to answer your questions. Depositing and withdrawing, however, can be fairly complicated and may involve long waits and phone calls with support agents. Not the easiest thing to do.

7 Sultans Poker Review

Opponents

The quality of the players at 7 Sultans Poker is fairly weak. They bet too quickly with marginal hands, and they’ll call most anything. However, there is very little player traffic when compared to other sites. It’s a part of the Prima network, a company that hosts many online poker rooms, but it just doesn’t feel the same as the big poker sites. Their traffic is almost nonexistent during the day and only picks up later at night. The players definitely are weak, but they arent the weakest around, nor are the numerous enough to be enormously profitable.

Rating: 6/10

Game Selection

7 Sultans only has three of the standard five poker variants: Texas Holdem, Omaha, and 7 Card Stud. They also offer 5 Card Stud. They have no Hi/Low versions of these games. Also, unless it’s Texas Holdem, you won’t find more than 10 other games running. Their software isn’t that good compared to their competitors, either. Their limits are fairly varied, but there just isnt anybody playing at higher limits. Not the best site if you want to be able to find a table for any game, sit down, and play some poker.

Rating: 4/10

Rewards/Bonuses/Jackpots

Their first-time deposit bonus is somewhat different from other poker rooms, and they change it all the time. Currently, if you deposit $20, youll earn up to $200 bonus as you play. This is better than most other poker rooms for players with small bankrolls. However, they require you to play as much as 600 raked hands for every $20 increment. They have a progressive bad beat jackpot for Holdem, which starts at $500 and gets $50 added to it each day. They also have a daily high-hand jackpot of $250.

Rating: 6/10

Tournaments

The tournaments at 7 Sultans are barely satisfactory. They have three daily freerolls, two of which have $1000 or more in the prize pool. They’re able to do this because it’s throughout the Prima network. They have an alright selection of single table tournaments, but have only recently added multi-table. Their tournaments are primarily Texas Holdem, and really nothing special. They don’t have as many as some of the better sites out there. If you enjoy good tournaments and like to play often, look elsewhere.

Rating: 6/10

Customer Support

Their customer support staff is satisfactory. They surprisingly offer email, live chat, and phone support. Their email responses can be rather slow, but still within an acceptable time period. Since it’s a member of the Prima network, depositing and withdrawing money is simple and fast. They offer a fair number of options for depositing, and all that’s necessary for withdrawing. Nothing worth noting except that they offer live chat and phone service, neither of which are top-notch.

Carbon Poker Review

Opponents

This is where Carbon Poker proves that its a force to be reckoned with. They sport a large number of new players who will be easy to beat. Since changing their name recently, though, they’ve lost a significant amount of their player base, and as such it’s much harder to find a good game. Despite this, most of the players are very loose and tend to be new to the game. This is a great poker room to make some money at.

Rating: 8/10

Game Selection

Carbon Poker takes a little step back here from other popular poker rooms, as it only offers two different poker games: Texas Holdem and Omaha Hi. However, all of their limit, no limit, and pot limit games are usually well populated. They also claim that additional games are in development and will be playable soon. Their limits range from $.02/.04 to $30/60, so you get a good variety there. When all is said and done, the only thing theyre really lacking is 7 Card Stud, but thats definitely a strike against them.

Rating: 7/10

Rewards/Bonuses/Jackpots

They have a terrific first time deposit bonus of 200%, up to $500. This is well above the industry standard, and its given out at a very generous rate of $1 for every 10 raked hands. Their raking structure is also very generous and is much fairer to the player than other online poker rooms are. They do offer redeposit bonuses on occasion, and they do a very good job of giving you incentives to keep on playing. They do not currently have a jackpot.

Rating: 9/10

Tournaments

Carbon Poker takes their tournaments to the next level. First of all, if youre interested in playing in some freerolls, this is the best site online for them. They put over $5000 into their freerolls each day. They can be as low as $100 freerolls that have no requirements to join, or up to $3000 that requires you to play a certain amount of raked hands. Their standard tournaments are also well done, although they dont offer as many tournaments for Omaha as they do Texas Holdem. Overall, if you enjoy poker freerolls, theres no place better than Carbon Poker.

Rating: 8/10

Customer Support

The customer support at Carbon Poker is simply amazing. Like most poker rooms these days, they dont offer phone support, but their email support staff is top-notch. Most questions have been answered within 15 minutes of sending an email. Their depositing and withdrawing has become a painful experience with the new US legislature, and they don’t seem to have a fix for the NETeller issue. It still gets done, though, albeit slower than most rooms.
